New Frayed Edged Ribbons For Spring 2024

As spring makes a long anticipated arrival here in the welsh hills along with the some greenery and the bleating of the newly born lambs, our thoughts turn to longer days, warm weather and naturally for us summer ribbons, designs and fabrics.

Last week saw the arrival of the first deliveries of Summer stocks among with where some new designs for us based on both Cotton and Linen ribbons.

Addressing The Vintage Look

We have had an increasing demand in recent months for more ribbon using vintage  classic designs. One of the most asked for was floral prints. With this in mind we have a number of new floral ribbons arriving in over the next few weeks. The first to be unpacked was these vintage rose prints (see Below), these designs have been printed on a 50mm wide cotton ribbon with a frayed edge, which helps to enhance the vintage appearance of the design. 

The designs run the full length of one side of these ribbons with the revers remaining plain. The very nature of this design lends itself for a wide use of applications including wedding decorative work, floral arrangements and interior projects. We feel that this range is going to be popular this year due to its versatility.

Linen With A Spots!

Another new arrival has been a range of frayed edged linen ribbon featuring an attractive small polka dot design. This works exceptionally well we feel on the natural coloured background of the linen.

This is a small range of colours, Pink, Blue, Brown & Red all of which come in a 38mm width and offer exceptional value. The pink version of this can be seen above. Like the floral print we have a number of customer who are looking to utilise this design for wedding decorative work plus floral arrangements, which it naturally seems to lend itself for.

We have a number of other designs landing soon on both cotton and linen ribbon bases as demand for these summer fabrics have increased greatly, these will also include a range of plain coloured cotton shades.
